How often does YOUR household call 911? Once a year? Once every five years? Never in life?
Not trying to pass judgment if it’s happened to you, but it seems like if you’re public figures, Jenelle Evans and David Eason, 911 gets a call more like TWICE A MONTH. On average.
The couple are currently embroiled in a custody battle after getting their four children — their daughter Ensley, Jenelle’s sons Jace and Kaiser, and David’s daughter Maryssa — taken away by Child Protective Services.
The incident which got the government’s (and the public’s) attention was of course David’s violent killing of the family’s French bulldog Nugget.
He pretty much confirmed the unbelievable report immediately with a blustery Instagram post about defending his family, complete with video “evidence” of the tiny (maybe 10 pound) pup nipping at two-year-old Ensley. Clearly a capital offense for Eason.
But that was apparently just the tip of the iceberg…
CPS agents testified in court that the former Teen Mom stars’ home was dangerous for the children, both physically — there were reportedly damaged walls — and emotionally, what with all the screaming fights.
It’s not yet clear whether the parents will get their kids back, but the court did order the couple to undergo parenting classes and marriage counseling for a start.
Jenelle has denied time and time again any domestic problems with her husband. She may actually, sincerely believe they have a healthy home, but the data tells the story.
TMZ looked into it, and the records are astounding. According to the Columbus County Emergency Services, there have been a whopping 25 calls to 911 from the Eason residence in the past year.
Wow. We knew of a few calls, but 25 in a year?? An average of one emergency every two weeks?
TMZ says about a third of those calls were regarding welfare checks — we have to assume family or neighbors getting the cops to make sure the kids were OK after being troubled by David’s behavior. Lot of that going around.
Apparently only six of the calls were made by someone inside the house looking to speak to law enforcement.
Last month it was David who had to call when the couple received a mysterious white powder in the mail. Obviously there was nothing they could do about that one. Scary!
Of course the most infamous call was back in October, when Jenelle called 911 in fear of her life as she claimed David was attacking her.
She later called B.S. on that, after she got out of the hospital, but the phone call is available to hear online. It happened.
And speaking of being in denial…
Just before this report came out, Jenelle actually shared a video on her YouTube channel over the weekend of the family in happier times.
Apparently she’s gone from MTV to vlogging, and Saturday’s vid was all about the kids playing with their new chickens.
Oh, and Nugget is there. All tail-waggingly happy. The kids seem to be having a good time, too, all under the feet of Eason, as no one has any idea the horror he’s about to be commit.
Can you imagine being so delusional you go ahead and post this? After what happened??
Eesh.
If she doesn’t acknowledge the problem (David) it’s never going to get solved, no matter how much legally mandated counseling she attends.
