Mick Jagger is reportedly back to full health following his heart operation.

The Rolling Stones were forced to cancel their tour after Mick fell ill.

The shock news was announced in March, when 75-year-old Mick apologised to his fans for pulling the gigs.

The singer said: "I’m so sorry to all our fans in America & Canada with tickets. I really hate letting you down like this. I’m devastated for having to postpone the tour but I will be working very hard to be back on stage as soon as I can. Once again, huge apologies to everyone."

The legendary rock band had to cancel after Mick was advised against performing by doctors.

A statement released by the band said: "Unfortunately today the Rolling Stones have had to announce the postponement of their upcoming US/Canda tour dates – we apologise for any inconvenience this causes those who have tickets to shows but wish to reassure fans to hold onto these existing tickets, as they will be valid for the rescheduled dates, which will be announced shortly."

It continued: "Mick has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time, as he needs medical treatment. The doctors have advised Mick that he is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible."

But now, it appears Mick is back on his feet and feeling great.

Mick's daughter Jade recently took to Instagram to post a picture of her dad looking happy and healthy as he posed up with his daughter Georgia May during a family day out.

The legendary rocker beams a huge smile as he wraps his arm around his little girl's shoulders.

A source told The Sun Mick has been given the all-clear by doctors following his operation.

They said: "Mick is delighted to be back to full health and feels 100% after his op. He is his normal chipper and positive self.

"Doctors are really pleased with his progress and were happy to give him a clean bill of health."

They added: "His healthy eating has really helped with his recovery, he’s been taking it easy and resting. The health scare has just reminded him to keep taking care of himself."

The band also announced that they'll soon have an update about the US and Canada dates they were forced to postpone.

They said on Twitter : "Thank you for all your patience and support regarding the re-scheduling of The Rolling Stones US and Canada tour dates. We will have an update and an announcement in the coming days for you, please stay tuned."

Mirror Online has contacted Mick's representatives for comment.
