Meryl Streep is currently shooting a new movie directed by Steven Soderbergh and it was just announced that the film will be released on the upcoming streaming service HBO Max.
The film, which has a working title of Let Them All Talk, is an upcoming comedy starring Meryl, Gemma Chan, Lucas Hedges, Dianne Wiest, and Candice Bergen.
Soderbergh began principal photography on the movie last week in New York City. THR reports that the story “centers on a celebrated author (Streep) who takes a journey on a cruise ship with some old friends (Bergen, Wiest) to have some fun and heal old wounds. Her nephew (Hedges) comes along to wrangle the ladies and finds himself involved with a young literary agent (Chan).”
HBO Max will launch in spring 2020 and will be the new streaming home of Friends.
