The ‘Nope’ actress celebrates her beau’s birthday by sharing a video of her lip-syncing to Jenevieve’s 2021 hit song ‘Baby Powder’ while her man is driving their car.
AceShowbiz –Keke Palmer is showering her boyfriend with more love on his birthday. When celebrating Darius Jackson’s latest milestone, the “Nope” actress took to social media to share a sweet tribute to him.
On Saturday, January 21, the 29-year-old unleashed a video of her and her beau driving together. The former child star, who was seated in the passenger seat of the car, could be seen lip-syncing to Jenevieve‘s 2021 hit song “Baby Powder” while her man was behind the wheel.
In the caption, Keke wrote, I can easily write long emotional posts for all my girls birthdays, but it’s so cringy writing a birthday post for you because the love is so sacred.” She added, “It almost feels asinine to try to share or give a glimpse into something that only we could understand. I can share most things so easily, but not you.”
To conclude her post, the “Akeelah and the Bee” leading lady gushed, “Happiest Birthday to the best Aquarius, Darius, my guy!” She further exclaimed, “Let’s go Birds!”
Keke and Darius are currently expecting their first child together. The singer/TV personality confirmed her pregnancy when hosting “Saturday Night Live” back in December 2022.
“There’s some rumours going around, people have been in my comments saying, ‘Keke’s having a baby, Keke’s pregnant,’ and I wanna set the record straight – I am!” she said during her opening monologue while revealing her burgeoning bump. “I gotta say, though, it is bad when people on the internet spread rumors about you y’all, but it’s even worse when they’re correct.”
“I mean, like, I was trying so hard to keep it on the down low, cause I got a lot of stuff going on, you know?” Keke continued. “But honestly this has been the biggest blessing, and I am so excited. Guys, I’m going to be a mom.”
Earlier this month, Keke hinted that she’s having a baby girl. “It kills me when guys are disappointed that they are having a girl, like they aren’t the reason for that genetic outcome lmao. Also, baby girls are a blessing,” she wrote on Twitter before walking on a red carpet at the 2023 New York Film Critics Circle Awards.
