Katherine Schwarzenegger gushes over her fiancé Chris Pratt‘s ex-wife, Anna Faris!
On Tuesday, the 29-year-old launched her new podcast, The Dog That Changed Me, and revealed she was inspired by the Mom actress, who has hosted her Unqualified podcast since November 2015.
The author revealed to Us Weekly:
“ has an incredibly successful podcast. I really admire all the work that she’s done, and she’s definitely an expert at it… Learning from her is another huge gift. I have such great people in my life that I’m able to learn from in all different areas of life and, and she’s definitely somebody that I look up to in the podcast world.”
Additionally, Schwarzenegger — who got engaged to the Guardians of the Galaxy actor this January — said she relies on mom, Maria Shriver, for advice.
“My mom always offers me a huge amount of advice with everything that I do… My mom also has a podcast, so I definitely learned from her.”
Katherine’s nine-episode podcast focuses on the importance of dog adoption, and features appearances from Mandy Moore, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Haylie Duff.
Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s daughter — who adopted her dog, Maverick, a year after she graduated college — also explained that having a puppy is similar to having a child.
“You should get a dog before you decide to have children because it’s like a great buffer into what that might look like… Obviously, having kids is way more of a responsibility, but you really kind of get that little bit of insight into, you know, changing the way that you go about your day, putting the needs of your animal first. … Having a dog is a huge responsibility but it’s also the greatest decision that you could ever make.”
As we reported, Katherine and Chris’ upcoming nuptials “will be a very intimate affair with just their closest loved ones.”
Per a People source, “they don’t want it to be a circus.”
The insider added:
“The focus will be their commitment to each other, and God will play a very large role on their big day. It’s been such a special time not just for them, but also for their families. Everyone is so excited.”
In January of this year, an E! News source claimed the two are “thinking about” having their wedding on the East Coast, revealing:
“They are thinking about Martha’s Vineyard which is a special place for Katherine and where she spent a lot of time growing up. Chris wants her to have her perfect day and whatever she wants. It will be a big wedding and very traditional.”
Get it, you two!
