Jessie J has vowed to “stop worrying” in 2023, just days after announcing her surprise pregnancy news.
After tragically suffering a miscarriage last year, the singer, who earlier slammed people commenting about her weight, announced the pregnancy via social media on January 7.
The 34 year old, who is said to be dating basketball-playing boyfriend Chanan Safir Colman, took to Instagram once again to share a “vibe of the day” for her 12.3 million followers.
The picture, which is from the Law of Attraction Instagram page, has attracted over 64k likes since it was posted.
It read: “Everything that is meant for you, you will have. Stop worrying… Make a plan. Do the work.”
In a separate story, the former girlfriend of Channing Tatum added without context: “So much of the internet is legit acting like b**chy nosey sassy ass 13 year olds at a sleepover.”
It comes after Jessie, real name Jessica Ellen Cornish, took to Instagram to announce her pregnancy.
In a grid post on Friday, which showed her pregnancy chest and ultrasound, she penned: “I am so happy and terrified to finally share this…
“Please be gentle with me.
“Honestly, ya girl just wants to ugly cry in public in a catsuit eating a chocolate covered pickle with no questions asked.”
Many famous faces took to the comments to wish the former Voice coach the best, with cleaning guru Mrs Hinch penning: “Omg I am so so so happy for you , for this beautiful moment xxxxx”
Kelly Rowland wrote: “AHHHHHHHHH SCREAMING CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU!!”
“Congrats beauty,” said Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock, as Rita Ora, who was recently branded “perfect”, wrote: “Congratulations.”
The Do It Like a Dude singer suffered a miscarriage in November 2021, and took to social media to inform fans.
At the time, she wrote: “Yesterday morning I was laughing with a friend saying ‘seriously though how am I going to get through my gig in LA tomorrow night without telling the whole audience I am pregnant.
“By yesterday afternoon I was dreading the thought of getting through the gig without breaking down…
“After going for my 3rd scan and being told there was no longer a heartbeat,” Jessie continued. “This morning. I feel like I have no control of my emotions. I may regret posting this. I may not. I actually don’t know.
“What I do know is that I want to sing tonight. Not because Im avoiding the grief or the process, but because I know singing tonight will help me.”
Jessie later said that the miscarriage was the “saddest and loneliest time of my life”, and she was “holding tightly to hope.”
