TOWIE’s Jess Wright has paid tribute to Dame Vivienne Westwood with a touching Instagram post, showing off her wedding gown by the iconic designer.

The touching tribute also showed The Only Way Is Essex star in never before seen pictures, as she chose the stunning dress with its scooped neckline and chiffon ruffles.

In the post, she thanked the designer for making her feel “special” on her wedding day and said that she would never forget how she felt in the gown.

Emphasising the point, Jess also shared several photographs taken on her wedding day which showed how amazing she looked in the designer dress.

One black-and-white image also showed the elegant bow detail, which trailed down her back.

Clearly moved by the designer’s untimely passing, Jess wrote in the caption: “So sad to hear about the passing of Dame Vivienne Westwood. Thoughts are with her loved ones…

“Whilst I obviously didn’t know her personally; I’ll never forgot how special her gown made me feel on my wedding day…”

Reality star Jess then finished the post by reflecting on Dame Vivienne’s incredible career, which included designing custom gowns for Sex and the City and receiving an OBE from the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Continuing, Jess thanked the designer and wrote: “Thank you Dame Vivienne, you will never be forgotten and your designs will live for eternity…”

Fans of Jess also paid tribute to the late designer and commented on Jess’s ethereal wedding look, with one fan writing: “It’s so sad, you look beautiful babe x”

Another wrote: “…your dress is beautiful and you looked stunning”.

Even brand Brownsbride, where Jess bought the gown, joined in and dubbed the gown “unforgettable” in the comments.

They added: “We all knew it was the one for you as soon as you walked out in this dress.”

Others commented on Dame Vivienne’s legacy, with one fan writing telling the TOWIE star that she was lucky to have a “piece of history”.

It’s been over a year since Jess wore the iconic gown as she wed entrepreneur William Lee-Kemp in a lavish ceremony in Majorca.

The bride and groom tied the knot at Basílica de Sant Francesc in an opulent ceremony, which featured 12 bridesmaids and several of Jess’s TOWIE co-stars.

The luxury continued into the evening with a reception at a nearby Spanish castle, with Jess changing her dress another two times over the course of the night.

Reality star Jess also wore designs by Australian brand Pallas Couture and a long-sleeved dress by Milla Nova, which she teamed with a diamond tiara and veil.

Jess and fiancé William had been keen to celebrate in style, after the original nuptials were delayed due to the pandemic.
