James Argent has revealed he’s “finally” moved into his “beautiful new home” after reportedly spending £1.3million on the pad in order to “prove himself” to his on-off girlfriend Gemma Collins.
The 31 year old reality star shared the news with his 776,000 Instagram followers by sharing a post of himself in his new house while sat with his thumbs up in front of a number of cleaning products that had been gifted to him, which were placed on his glass table.
Writing in the caption, the former The Only Way Is Essex star said: “Finally moved into my beautiful new home “Thank you so much @nenucoattrendytots for your lovely house warming gifts!
“The smells remind me of Spain which help me not to miss it as much lol I can’t wait to be back in Majorca This Wednesday for my gig at @stadium63 #palmanova.” [sic]
James is reported to have “spent £1.3million on the Essex home” in a bid to “prove himself” to his reality on and off girlfriend Gemma Collins, 38.
Last week, an insider told The Sun: “Arg is determined to sort himself out and grow up and he is hoping that buying this home will be the perfect way to prove himself.
“With five bedrooms, it would work as a proper family home and he is even getting it renovated before he moves in.
“He is settling down just around the corner from his best pal Mark [Wright] and his wife Michelle Keegan, and hopes to emulate their level of marital bliss with Gemma.”
The source added: “Although Gemma isn't officially moving in with Arg, that is his long-term goal and he hopes that eventually she will be living there with him. “This is his way of proving that he has grown up and is ready to settle down once and for all.”
Reality star James also recently showed off his incredible weight loss results and revealed he’s joined the gym in a bid to have “the biggest comeback of 2020”.
In the photo, James, grinned as he sported goggles, a swimming cap and a towel around his waist.
The reality star wrote in the caption: “I’m going to have the biggest comeback of 2020!!! After a few years of absence I’m now officially a member of @davidlloydchigwellofficial.
James’ motivational post received more than 27,000 likes and hundreds of comments from fans sending supportive messages.
One said: “Get on it Arg lad #positivevibe365,” while another added: “You go for it. Sending you love. Go Smash it xx.”
And a third wrote: “Keep going Arg!! x” and another said: “Its never too late arg ….. good for you! Xx” [sic]
Meanwhile, Gemma has also showed off her slimmed down physique in a stunning photo of herself in a metallic silver dress.
Looking sensational in the shimmery wrap dress, she wrote in the caption: “Looking very forward to @deliveroo this evening and then onto @havenhousech to celebrate the amazing charity work for all the beautiful children.”
