“Friends” fans may never know the contents of the note that Phoebe Buffay wrote for Ross Geller to keep his co-workers away from his “moistmaker” sandwich in Season 5 of the hit series.

“Oh my God,” co-creator David Crane told Page Six at the recent Tribeca TV Festival when asked about the offensive note, which ultimately leads to Ross being placed on sabbatical. “I’m standing here going, ‘She wrote a note for his sandwich?’ I don’t know. This is the problem with being 25 years older, I don’t have a clue, I can’t even make up something.”

Co-creator Marta Kauffman echoed the sentiment, telling us, “I have absolutely no idea what that note said, but now I’m going to look into it because I really want to know!”

The pair also had different opinions of whether Ross’ ex-girlfriend Julie would still be dating Rachel’s one-time fling — and Ross look-a-like — Russ today.

“I’m going to say sure, because yes is always a more interesting answer than no,” Crane laughed.

However, Kauffman wasn’t into the idea of Julie and Russ’ happy ending.

“I think not,” she said.

Executive producer Kevin Bright was also on-hand at the event with Crane and Kauffman to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the “Friends” premiere. During the panel, which David Schwimmer snuck in to watch, Kauffman divulged two plot lines from the series she regretted over the years.

Fathom Events is also honoring “Friends” with a 25th anniversary special in theaters around the country with a three-night theatrical event airing 12 episodes from various seasons.
