Frank Pesce has died aged 75 from dementia, it has been confirmed by his girlfriend. Tributes have poured in for the actor following the sad news, who is best known for his roles in hit 1986 film Top Gun and 1984 film Beverly Hills Cop.
His girlfriend Tammy Scher told Deadline magazine that the star died on February 6 following dementia complications.
Frank rose to fame in the mid 1970s when he guest-starred on series including Police Story and Kojak.
He went on to play roles in early Sylvester Stallone films such as Rocky and Paradise Alley.
