Fleetwood Mac singer Christine McVie left her staggering fortune and estate worth a whopping £70 MILLION to her beloved brother and grandchildren
Fleetwood Mac singer Christine McVie, who died aged 79, left behind a staggering £70 million including her estate in the UK worth £57 million.
The hitmaker passed away in November last year in hospital, after suffering a stroke that she battled against cancer which spread through her body.
Christine, who penned some of the band’s biggest hits including Don’t Stop and Little Lies, left her inheritance to her brother John Perfect and grandchildren.
As well as leaving funds to her family, the singer also left various charities in her will to benefit.
Probate documents have shown her former manager Martin Wyatt and American-based businessman Paul Glass are listed as executors of the estate.

Her iconic instruments and outfits were sold in 2022 at a special auction, a month after her death, which were donated to her charity MusiCares.
MusiCares is an organisation that aims to provide welfare services to the music community.
The wooden balls dangling from Fleetwood’s waist on the cover of Rumours were the top-selling item at the auction, fetching $128,000 [£97,000].
Her death certificate showed she had suffered an ischaemic stroke, which is caused when blood flow is restricted to the brain by blood clots which form where the arteries have been narrowed.
Her family announced the news of her death last year saying: ‘She passed away peacefully at hospital following a short illness. She was in the company of her family’.
Christine, who loved British village life, previously lived outside Canterbury for 25 years in a £3.2 million country estate – not the same as the aforementioned.
In 2015 it was reported that the singer put her £3.5 million mansion up for sale with six bedrooms, four reception rooms, a three-bedroom outhouse, two cottages and sprawling gardens.
She sold the house before upsizing in the capital to spend time with her bandmates after they reunited for the On With The Show tour in 2015.

The singer and pianist moved into the Grade II listed house in Kent dubbed The Quaives in 1990 when it was in disrepair and over the 25 years she overhauled the entire estate.
Last week Mick Fleetwood, the drummer and founding member of the legendary rock band, released a sweet tribute to Christine on what would have been her 80th birthday.
The iconic musician, who said his band is ‘done’ earlier this year, released an instrumental version of Songbird, which is one of her most famous songs.
According to CNN Mick said: ‘We cut it in April, and it turned out beautifully, but there was no plan yet to release it.’
‘But when I heard about Christine’s upcoming birthday, it felt like the right time to share this as a tribute to all the lovely music she created, both on her own and with Fleetwood Mac.’
Fleetwood worked with ukulele legend Jake Shimabukuro for his version of the song.
