Former Coronation Street actor Georgia May Foote has confirmed that she and fiancé Kris Evans have tied the knot, almost two years after he popped the question.
The 32-year-old, who played Katy Armstrong for five years on the ITV soap, shared updates from her wedding day via her social media account.
On her Instagram stories, Georgia posted pictures that she had taken with her friends and family, as well as videos and snaps taken by the guests themselves.
In one photograph, shared with her 534,000 followers, the actor showed off her wedding gown — a maxi number featuring a plunging neckline and intricate beaded detailing.
The sleeveless dress also had a banded waistline and a flowing fishtail hem.

The wedding snaps come just five weeks after the 32-year-old shared a black-and-white picture taken during her hen do.
In the caption, she wrote: “I am about to marry my best friend. The person who makes me a better person. Didn’t think I would find someone who would love me for me but I did it.
“Thanks to all my people who showed up for me this weekend. I had a ball, and I’m forever grateful to you all for loving me for me too.
“Here is to the last month of being a Foote,” she added.
Georgia first announced that she was getting married to Kris back in December 2021.
She wrote: “30/12/2021. Mrs Evans to be. Of course I am still crying.
“@krisevansmusic I love you beyond words and I am honoured you have chosen me.”
At the time of the engagement, Kris himself also issued an update to his 17,000 Instagram followers.
He shared a series of holiday snaps taken in Gran Canaria and wrote: “Kristmas & New Year was a liccle different this year.
“Happy New Year to you all and I wish you all the best & happiness for 2022 – let’s make it the best one yet.”
