Beth Chapman, wife of Dog The Bounty Hunter, is in an induced coma with family warned she may not return home, according to reports.

Earlier this week the reality star who stars alongside her husband – real name Duane Chapman – in programme Dog & Beth: On the Hunt was taken to hospital in Hawaii.

Now the 51-year-old’s mother, children and grandchildren have rushed to her bedside in the intensive care unit of Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, after ‘doctors warned them to expect the worst’.

Beth has been battling with stage four lung cancer after being diagnosed a second time last year and was placed in a medically-induced coma after she was struggling to breathe.

Now according to TMZ it’s been claimed the reality star may not recover.

Sources told the website: ‘There’s not a lot that can be done for Beth and at this point, and the family is making medical decisions with the help of her doctors.’

Dog and Beth’s daughter, Bonnie, admitted there has been little news about her mother’s condition but she was grateful she was receiving ‘good care’, with Dog urging their followers to pray for his wife.

Bonnie said on her Instagram Story: ‘There’s not much of an update I can give, I can say she’s getting good care.

‘I know you guys wanted more, but y’know it’s a coma, not much can be updated.’

Earlier she’d shared a photo of her parents kissing, as she wrote: ‘If you haven’t heard, my mother in an induced coma.

‘Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.’

Beth revealed in September 2017 that she had stage two cancer, with A&E airing a two-hour special called Dog and Beth: Fight Of Their Lives documenting her health scare.

Months later, she announced she was cancer-free, but unfortunately, the cancer returned last year, leading her to have an emergency operation to remove a mass in her throat.

Her health deteriorated after the surgery, and Beth later learned the cancer had spread to her lungs and was incurable.

Dog told the Daily Mail earlier this year that Beth wanted to spend her last days on the hunt, tracking down on the run criminals for their new WGN America show Dog’s Most Wanted, which is due to air next year.

The devoted husband and father previously admitted he would ‘do anything’ if it meant his wife would be well again.

He said: ‘I’m a sinner. I pray a lot. I have done double that. I constantly ask God to heal my honey and make sure He takes care of it.

‘I’ve been telling Him that I’m going to try and quit smoking and cursing. I’m a dealmaker, and I’ll do anything.’
