Former Coronation Street star Faye Brookes has been accused of animal cruelty for allegedly leaving her two dogs on her balcony "all day and night" during the heatwave.
The 33 year old is the owner of two Pomeranians named Bao and Bear with her boyfriend Joe Davies, however, her neighbours were reportedly left concerned after spotting them on her balcony for hours on end.
According to The Sun, residents who live in the soap star's adjoining flats have taken to their local group to complain about her pet pooches' noises which have been "driving them insane".
"Not to be a massive Scrooge – but are the two Pomeranians that are left on the balcony in the building opposite us bothering anyone else?," one person is said to have written on the group according to the publication.
Another claimed: "It feels like they're left outside all day and night barking and it's been relentless when WFH every day."
A third reportedly claimed: "It's hot and they shouldn't be left out there like that for so long, poor things."
The publication also claims another person asked: "At what point does it start to look like an animal welfare issue? The balconies get so hot, surely you can't leave dogs out there for any amount of time?"
OK! has contacted a representative for Faye for comment.
Faye got the two pets in November of last year with her beau Joe, who moved in with her a few months earlier in the summer.
With their dogs having their own Instagram page, Faye and Joe often share snaps of them online.
The television star and fitness trainer first went public during a date night in Manchester in December 2019.
Faye was previously in a relationship with singer Gareth Gates.
