BTS just made more history with their music!
The seven piece group – RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook – have earned a #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with “Dynamite”, which makes them the first South Korean band to do so.
“Dynamite” also just won an MTV VMA award over the weekend, and they were also the first first South Korean act to win Best Pop Video award there.
In a recent interview with Teen Vogue, BTS opened up about how it makes them feel when they see fans connecting with their music.
“When fans connect our songs with their own experiences and attach meanings behind it, we’re amazed by the various experiences along with ways of life in the world,” the band shared. “Allowing us to have fresh thoughts and perspectives that our songs can be interpreted differently.”
They add, “Music is everything to us, and we can honestly say we are passionate about singing and dancing more than anyone. However, we realized that without ARMY, who are always there for us, everything we do is meaningless.”
