The cast of The Politician are getting ready for season two!

Lucy Boynton, Julia Schlaepfer, Theo Germaine, Rahne Jones, Laura Dreyfuss and Ben Platt all got together to attend a special screening and conversation panel for The Politician at 92Y on Monday (October 28) in New York City.

“We start shooting in 10 days,” Ben told Variety a few days ago. “I don’t really know much, I’ve only seen the first episode but I know there’s a lot about the transit system, climate change, young voter turnout.”

On working with Bette Midler and Judith Light on season two: I’ve spent a lot of time with Judith, who is the most wonderful person,” Ben said. “I think I’ll be a little more intimidated by Bette because she’s an icon in musical theater. I’m mostly just so thrilled to show up and rise to their level.”
