“It’s a tough fight, Andy Ruiz Jr… he doesn’t look like much, but he is a very very good fighter.
“Anthony will need to be how he’s been before and will really need to step up his game.”
Addressing why he believes Anthony may have lost his last fight, he added: “Last time he was unlucky.
“I don’t think he quite realised how good he [Andy] was. He may have looked at him on the scales and thought he may have had an easy touch.

“Andy is very far from an easy touch.
“That night, he knew that was the fight of his life but I just don’t believe Anthony on the night really gave Andy maybe enough respect, and, unfortunately, he paid the ultimate price.
“It was his first lost, but some of my biggest learning moments in life have come from losing.”
David went on to say: “I think if Anthony can adjust what ever the reasons was for losing the fight… maybe it was motivation, maybe he didn’t train as hard, maybe his head wasn’t in the game as much as it should’ve been.”
The boxing promoter added that he believes Anthony has “learned his lesson” and will come back stronger.

“Every fighter should be given 100 per cent respect,” he added. “You should go into every fight as if it’s your last fight.”
Reflecting on Anthony’s actions ahead of the last fight, he added: “Looking at Anthony, he didn’t seem his usual confident self.
“He looked like his mind was all over the place. He wasn’t himself as the fight unfolded, he got beat obviously.”

David added that a friend of his saw the boxer recently and said he is “great shape”.
When asked if he has issued any advice to his pal, David said no advice will help him.
“Anthony knows what he needs to do, there’s nothing I can tell him that he doesn’t already know,” he divulged.
“He’s felt the power, the strength and he knows what Andy brings to the table.
