Alison Hammond has admitted that not all hosts on This Morning are friends once the cameras are off amid reports she's set to replace Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes on the show.

Speaking about the TV presenters on the popular programme, she explained that the only two people who are friends on and off screen are Holly Willoughby, 39, and Phillip Schofield, 58.

However, besides these two, 45 year old Alison explained that people simply want to do their job and then get home to their family.

"We’re not on top of each other, do you know what I mean?" she told The Sun Online before the major shake up.

The star continued: "Phillip and Holly, they go on holiday together. They genuinely love each other, in a brother and sister way.

"But literally when we finish everyone wants to go home to their families and see them. We’ve got it just right I think. But no they all go and do their own thing."

It comes after it was recently reported that Eamonn and Ruth, both 60, have been left "angry" over rumours they are set to be axed from This Morning.

The TV husband and wife are said to be “not afraid to start a TV war” if they were to be replaced.

An insider told Heat magazine: “They are now planning their own TV talk show to rival This Morning, hopefully on the BBC or Channel 4.

“Still, they’re really angry with how they have been treated.”

However, it’s understood the Eamonn and Ruth, who recently denied making a dig at Alison, won’t leave the show easily, a source has claimed to new! magazine.

The source said: “Ruth and Eamonn are absolutely devastated. They’ve heard rumblings about this for a long time. Eamonn in particular thought this was going to happen, so it wasn’t a shock.

“There’s been no confirmation of the changes, so Ruth and Eamonn are both holding on to the hope they could win back their slot.

“They hope the public outcry will change the bosses’ minds to that they could do a Monday show or the Wednesday and then Alison and Dermot could do the Friday.”

Responding to the claims, a This Morning spokesperson said: “We have a stellar presenting line-up on This Morning in Holly and Phillip and Eamonn and Ruth. Any additions to this line up will be announced in due course.”
