The One Show presenter Alex Jones has taken to social media, offering fans a look at her blossoming baby bump. Alex announced on Thursday evening that she was expecting her third child with her husband, Charlie Thomson.

Alex, 44, announced live on air that she and Charlie were expecting a daughter as she held back the tears while sharing the delightful news.
The happy couple already shares two sons, Teddy, four, and Kit, 22 months, but will add a daughter to their brood later this year.
Ammanford, Wales, born Alex, has taken to her Instagram Stories to thank fans for their kind messages.
Posing in a mirror, Alex cradled her bump as she beamed from ear-to-ear, captioning her post: “There she is,” alongside two pink love heart emojis.
The presenter looked radiant as she slipped into a midi dress, decorated with neat floral prints as it wrapped perfectly around her belly.
Alex completed her look with a pair of black boots, teamed with a pair of black tights.
Her caramel locks were straightened to perfection as she opted to go for a natural makeup look for the mirror photograph.
Sharing her news on The One Show, Alex said: “I feel really nervous all of a sudden, it just seems like a good time to share some news with everybody and the crew in the studio for the first time.
“Lockdown has been anything but predictable, and we’ve had some really unexpected news, baby number three is on the way!”
Co-host, singer Ronan Keating, 44, and the team working on the show in the studio instantly started the celebrations by clapping after hearing her exciting news.
She told Ronan: “I need all the tips”.
Which saw dad-of-five Ronan quip: “Oh yeah, loads of them, loads of them. I’m so excited for you.”

An excited Alex went on to add: “Yeah, we didn’t see that one coming but yeah, we’re delighted.”
After being quizzed by singer Ronan over the gender of her unborn child, she replied: “A little girl, a little girl.”
Shortly after announcing her news on the primetime BBC One programme, Alex took to her Instagram page to also share the news with her 282,000 followers.
Posing alongside insurance broker husband and their two sons, Alex couldn’t contain her smile as Teddy held up a sign saying: “Coming soon… baby number three”.
The post which has attracted over 85,000 likes was soon flooded with messages of congratulations from celebrity pals and friends.
Singer and presenter Rochelle Humes typed: “Yay congratulations beauty..magic number.”
While presenter Anita Rani added: “OMG!!! Congratulations beauts xxxx.”
Former X Factor star and Loose Women panellist Stacey Solomon penned: “Aw yayyyyyyy xxxxx”.
Gaby Roslin commented: “Oh how wonderful. Huge congratulations. So great to hear the good news! Lots of love to all of you.”
Alex went on to tell fans that she had read every message that had been sent to her, adding that she was “completely overwhelmed and so grateful” as she sat in bed going through her comments and direct messages.
The soon-to-be parents of three became engaged to be married in February 2015 after initially meeting at a party back in 2011.
Just ten months after Charlie got down on one knee, the couple married at a stunning ceremony held in Cardiff Castle on New Year’s Eve.
