Growing up in Hollywood to A-list parents, Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, the US beauty started modelling in her teens.
Ireland Baldwin has always been open with her followers about her battle with body image, particularly after working in the fashion industry.
Having nurtured a healthier relationship with food and exercise in more recent years, the 23-year-old reached out to her fans to offer advice on the subject.
Taking to social media, she shared a polaroid snap of herself posing on the beach, utterly nude aside from a pair of briefs.
Though Instagram has strict nudity regulations when it comes to showing women’s nipples, the Californian babe cast the rules aside in a bid to make a statement.
She said: “Love your body. Respect your body. Be happy. Laugh it all off.
“Spend your remaining time on this earth with people who love you and make you feel good and if you don’t have many of those people, get out and go look for them.”
She finished: “Some of y’all are taking this whole life thing so damn seriously… and it’s so not worth it.”
Last year the pink-haired beauty revealed the harrowing details of her battle with anorexia over the photo-sharing app.
Posting a throwback photo from several years earlier, she admitted that at the height of her illness she would “run until I couldn’t feel my legs” or take “digestive pills” after eating a bite of food.
The former model explained that cruel comments on social media would often trigger these unhealthy habits.
She said: “Anytime anyone told me I was too tall or too fat to have done a job, I would run on a treadmill for the entire duration of at least three episodes of Friday Night Lights.”
Before adding: ”I battled with many eating disorders and body issues as a younger girl and it took me a long time to find self-love and acceptance.”
Luckily, Ireland has now turned her life around, prioritising health and happiness above all else.
