Tom Brady faces an uncertain future with the New England Patriots, and a recent event has some wondering if the legendary quarterback is planning to move his family out of Massachusetts.
As reported by Daniella Genovese of Fox Business, Brady and wife Gisele Bündchen have dropped the asking price on their Brookline mansion down to $33.9 million. It was previously listed for approx. $40 million. The mansion consists of seven baths and five bedrooms.
Brady’s Patriots were eliminated from the playoffs on Saturday, falling 20-13 to the Tennessee Titans in the Wild Card Round. The structure of his current deal allows Brady to test free agency for the first time in his career.
So far, Brady and head coach Bill Belichick have remained mum on the future of the six-time Super Bowl Champion. Various reports have suggested that the two are ready to break up, but letting go the most accomplished player in franchise history is easier said than done.
A 2018 report from ESPN reported that Brady’s relationship with Belichick had grown sour, and the latter actually wanted to move on following the Patriots’ Super Bowl LI triumph over the Atlanta Falcons.

The fact that Brady and Bündchen have opted to list their prized home on the market is all some fans and pundits need in regards to speculating that he could be on his way out. If Brady is planning to stay in Foxborough, why place your home on the market in the first place?
Brady was drafted in the sixth round by the Patriots in 2000, and he and Belichick have crafted together a dynasty like no other. Since 2001, the Patriots have won six of nine Super Bowl appearances, and they’ve only missed the postseason twice.
Whether or not Brady and Belichick agree to end their working relationship remains to be seen. For now, the wealthy buyers in the Massachusetts real estate market may want to consider buying this luxurious mansion.
