Love Island is one of the most watched series of the summer.

Each year the famous villa has become the host of some wonderful phrases coined and overused by the islanders.

Super fans of the ITV2 show will remember “my type on paper” and “putting my eggs in one basket” from previous contestants, the phrases became so overused that they made their way onto t-shirts, bikinis and kitchenware.

And now, among “bevvy” and “laying it on factor 50” this year’s islanders are very keen on the phrase: “It is what it is”.

ITV2 viewers were quick to point out the sentence would soon be embellished onto clothing everywhere, and sure enough, the slogan t-shirt is officially here.

Available for £11.99 from In The Style, shoppers and Love Island fans can officially get their hands on the most overused phrase of the summer.
