HARRY MAGUIRE'S match-winning exploits for Manchester United left wife Fern "shaking" as she shared a heartwarming post on Instagram.

Maguire headed home the only goal in Man United's 1-0 Champions League win over Copenghagen last night, with Andre Onana also saving a last-minute penalty.

The 30-year-old had been enduring a tough time on the pitch before a recent run of exemplary form.

And his goal, which could now spark United's season into gear, left no one happier than wife Fern.

Fern, who has been married to the England star since 2022, took to Instagram to reveal an adorable note from Maguire's daughter that read: "Well done daddy goal."

She captioned the post: "My hands shaking I'm over the moon!!!

"Nobody deserves this more than you. We love you so much."

Maguire was thrilled with the reception he received from an emotionally-charged Old Trafford after the match.

He said: "It is amazing. When you are not on your game it gets picked up, but I am really proud and pleased how I have acted over this six to 12 months.

"I have been given an opportunity and I want to help the team and get the club back to where it should be."

Manager Erik ten Hag also lavished praise on the former Man United captain.

The Dutchman said: "He's playing much more proactive in possession, stepping in, passing vertically and defending on the front foot also.

"He is very confident in the duels and I think he's dominating his opponents.

"You see you get rewarded. He has a very good skill in his heading. I have to say a very good pass from Christian [Eriksen] too."

Maguire's form could mean he is in line to start Sunday's Manchester derby.
