The Prodigy frontman reportedly owed millions in debts and taxes when he died earlier this year.

Keith Flint was found dead in his home in Dunmow, Essex on March 4, having committed suicide.

The 49-year-old had built up an estate worth £11.6million at the time of his death but also owed £7.3million, as per figures shared by the Probate Office.

According to The Sun, the singer had put his £1.5million mansion up for sale several days before his death.

The publication also reported that his pub firm, named De Bohun Inns Limited, had debts of more than £500,000.

That said, the Firestarter hitmaker had earned an alleged £1.5milllion from The Prodigy in the last two years alone.

After releasing their seventh studio album, No Tourists, in November of last year, the band embarked on a tour of Australia and New Zealand.

Less than a month after his final performance, emergency services were called to Keith’s UK home in response to concerns for his welfare.

Once Keith’s death had been announced, the remaining members of the group – Maxim and Liam Howlett – announced that all future tour dates would be cancelled.

The musician was open about his relationship with money in the past, telling FHM in 2015: “I’m not saving for anything. I’m cashing it all now.”

Before adding: “I’ve always had this thing inside me that, when I’m done, I’ll kill myself.”

After Keith’s death, the hashtag “Firestarter4Number1” started trending on social media, in a bid to raise awareness for male suicide in the UK.
