A STYLE whizz has listed five sleepwear designs that will instantly cheapen your appearance – and it's bad news if you're obsessed with Disney.

Finishing School graduate Amira Bessette took to TikTok to offer a helping hand to fellow fashionistas, revealing how they can elevate their wardrobe.

According to the pro, who spends her time between the UK and Poland, it's not just your everyday gear that plays a key part in how others will perceive you.

Sharing her tips and advice online, Amira noted that your sleepwear is just as important.

Have a look to see if your top pick is amongst them…

Amira started the video shared on her platform, @amira.bessette, with pyjamas that came with what she described was ''juvenile prints''.

These, the fashion guru explained, included anything with cartoon-inspired logos and designs, as well as the Disney merch.

Amira went on: ''I don't think any elegant lady above the age of 14 should be wearing these.''

The second style that had made it on the banned list were oversized T-shirts – sure, they might be comfy but according to the pro, the look is a big no-no.

Amira said: ''I think if you want to look put together and elegant, it's important to invest in good quality, comfortable pyjamas.

According to Amira, mismatched pyjamas will also make for a cheap and tacky overall look, and this trend is best avoided at all costs.

Sharing the info with her 509k followers on the platform, she said: ''These are pyjamas where the top doesn't match the bottom.''

When shopping for new PJs, the whizz also urged to check the material the garments have been made of – and here, ''low quality polyester'' is best steered clear of.

''I think these are the worst kind of pyjamas you can sleep in.''

This, she went on to explain, is because ''they impact the quality of your sleep more than you realise''.

Instead, where possible, opt for materials that let your skin breathe better, such as cotton and linen.

''And the last ones are the pyjamas where you can already see wear and tear,'' Amira informed fashion enthusiasts on social media.

''It's best to get rid of them and invest in new ones.''

However, despite the recommendations, it seems that not everyone will be taking the advice om board.

Hundreds raced to comments, where the overall opinion appeared to be totally divided.

One said: ''All these rules just to sleep…SMH [shake my head].''

Another chimed in: ''girl i wear my husbands short and i love it…sooooo [sic].''
