FOOTBALLERS' Wives star Laila Rouass has sold her former Essex bolthole for £1.1million after getting back together with snooker ace Ronnie O'Sullivan.

The actress, who played Amber Gates in the ITV drama, bought the three-bedroom Edwardian pad almost 10 years ago.

But the former Holby star has now quit the semi-detached property in Essex.

It comes after Laila and Ronnie rekindled their relationship last year following a brief separation after being engaged for more than 10 years.

She is now believed to be permanently living with seven-time snooker World champion Ronnie at his nearby mansion and friends believe they could now finally tie the knot.

Laila, who stars in upcoming ITVX comedy Effects of Lying, bought her former home, near Epping Forest, for £800,000 in 2014.

According to property website Zoopla, she first tried to sell it in March, 2017, for £950,000.

She then put it up for sale again last September for £950,000 and Land Registry records reveal she eventually sold it for £1.1million.

In a sales brochure, estate agents told the prospective buyer: "Beyond your arched porch and spacious hallway, the front reception room is full of vintage-style charm, with light spilling in from the bay windows and rear door.

"You’ll love the feature fireplace, Edwardian beading and hardwood floors, while the neutral decor will act as the perfect backdrop for any of your own touches.

"The balance between old and new continues in the kitchen and adjoining additional reception, where an island sits centerstage, making the room the perfect hub for entertaining.

"The exposed wall and timber flooring contrast beautifully with the modern appliances. There’s no shortage of light thanks to the floor to ceiling patio doors and skylights, and you’ll love the convenience of having a storage room, utility room and downstairs WC, too.

"Upstairs, the three thoughtfully decorated bedrooms come with ample storage – and one even has its own dressing room and ensuite, while the bathroom is spacious, contemporary and spotless.

"Outside, you have a fabulous rear garden, with a sun-trap patio and large shed."

Laila, 52, and Ronnie, 47, met in 2012 when she had a viewing at his home, and Ronnie's father showed her around the property.

Ronnie later got in touch with Laila through the estate agent to ask her out and they became engaged the following year.
