LONDON Broncos have launched a probe after a player was described as ‘disabled’ by an internet troll.

The unnamed star is believed to have been deeply hurt by the message sent in the wake of Sunday’s 58-28 defeat by Salford.

Now Broncos chiefs are trying to hunt down whoever is responsible.

The message, seen by SunSport, was sent over Instagram by a user called vincenzovincito as Danny Ward’s men sit two point adrift at the bottom of the table with five games left.

“You are so f***ing bad,” it says. “I never seen before a garbage like you!

“Don’t be surprised if next fame at home all fans boo you and spit on you.

“You humiliated yourself and your family tonight, do you have honor (sic) and dignity? Refund all fans with your big wage cuz you didn’t deserve one pound.

“Overrated disabled!

“Shame of Broncos! Don’t read social media on you, all are destroying u!”

Rugby league takes great pride in the way it looks after players mentally and former Arsenal star Tony Adams has just become Rugby Football League president through his links with his Sporting Chance clinic.

Sources at London have described the player involved as having ‘really taken it to heart’ and they are now looking into the source of the message.

London head to Castleford tonight after the Tigers surrendered a 12-point lead in the golden point loss at Hull KR, which leaves them adrift at the bottom of the table, with four of their remaining five matches away from home.

But boss Ward is adamant they can turn it around, saying: “No-one likes losing or getting a good pasting like that and it’s going to hurt for a few days but I’ve still got 100 per cent confidence in the group.

“We’re not worried about the table or where we’re at, we’re just one game at a time and it’s on to Castleford where we’re going to have to be a lot better than we were.”
