A TOURIST has died after being pulled from the sea at a popular beach in the UK, say cops.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, was pulled from the water at Croyde Bay, north Devon, after he got into difficulty.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on Monday morning.
He was brought to shore by lifeguards who were administering CPR when paramedics arrived.
Sadly, he was pronounced dead shortly after.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the victim is from the Bedfordshire area.
One eye witness, who asked not to be named, said: "We were just leaving the holiday park.
"Armed police, lots of ambulances, air ambulance, the lot, and a huge crowd of people at the beach.
"I was driving away from the holiday park and just had them all whizzing past us and wasn't sure what was happening.
