A WOMAN has revealed how she ditched her normal home for life on the road after transforming a van into a tiny apartment.

It was 2018 when TikTok user Nic bought a van and turned it into her dream home – but according to the young woman, from the UK, she is not done just yet. And may never be.

Nic, who regularly shares short snippets of her routine on TikTok, insisted that the traditional route is not the one she wants to take.

''Many times I’ve been asked ‘when will you get a house’ and every time I still answer, I don’t want one.

''It really is that simple, I have no desire for a traditional brick and mortar house,'' she recently revealed in a video.

''Right now, I’ve enjoyed 4 years of living in a van and I don’t plan to leave it behind any time soon.

''One day I’d love land where I can build my own little cabin but right now, I’m content, living in my van.''

Nic's teeny white van – which is the fifth she has transformed so far – is a true source of inspiration and proof that even the oldest of vehicles can serve as a cosy home.

After purchasing the 2006 edition van, which she has lovingly nicknamed Dork, Nic gave it a stunning glow-up.

The once drab interior was ruthlessly removed and the online content creator revamped it with a modern Bohemian twist.
