Emmerdale: Caleb threatens Nicky
In upcoming scenes in Emmerdale, Cain Dingle’s (played by Jeff Hordley) half-brother Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) gets pushed off a woodland ridge by a mystery person.
However, Caleb has rubbed everyone in the village up the wrong way, so the culprit could be anyone.
In official spoilers released by ITV, Caleb lies in the hospital as the police line up their suspects.
Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) and Cain watch over Caleb, who is in a coma.
Although, the barmaid is suspicious of Cain when two detectives, DS Raveley and DC Croft, arrive to question him.
Could history be repeating itself for Cain Dingle? If Caleb dies, will the mechanic be arrested on suspicion of murder?
Or will he end up taking the fall or being framed by someone close to him?
In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk and other press, the actor who plays Caleb opened up about his latest storyline.
When speaking about the Dingle’s and Kim Tate (Claire King) being so “welcoming” to Caleb, the actor began: “They’ve been so kind and welcoming but there was huge suspicion of him when he came into the village and they showed him nothing but love really and kindness and it’s nice being involved with those two families.”

When discussing his confrontation with the villagers before he is pushed, Will continued: “It’s one of them scenes where you get the opportunity to say all the things you want to say to people you’ve got a grudge with in real life, but you never have the balls to say really.
“And he does give it to everybody with both barrels, and some of it is justified and some of it is unjustified, but he has kind of put himself into a corner, he is like a wounded animal.
“He feels like he’s been hurt and the best form of defence is to attack and he definitely goes on the attack.”

Turning his attention to who could have pushed him off the ridge, the Caleb Milligan star shared: “His whole life he’s held this grudge…he was put into care and his mum abandoned him and his family abandoned him.
“It’s that kind of, ‘You didn’t want anything to do with him’. So he is one of those people who will hold a grudge for a long time, so he feels like somebody’s tried to kill him essentially.
“So once he finds out who that is… the guns will be loaded for whoever that person is.”
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
