RAPPER Tekashi 6ix9ine has been rushed to the hospital after he was jumped inside a gym sauna by a group of men, his lawyer says.
6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was reportedly taken from the scene in an ambulance after the attack.
The rapper's attorney Lance Lazzaro told TMZ that 6ix9ine was in the sauna at an LA Fitness in South Florida when he was suddenly attacked by a group of men.
Lazzaro said that 6ix9ine tried fighting the group off but was overwhelmed as there were too many attackers.
The rapper, also known as Tekashi69, did not have security with him at the time, according to Lazzaro.
Gym staff heard the ordeal and EMS and police were called.
TMZ shared a photo showing the rapper with blood on him after he reportedly suffered injuries to his face, ribs, jaw, and back.
A shocking video that appears to show part of the incident has surfaced on social media.
The rapper is again seen with a bloody face wearing a puffer jacket and shorts.
The U.S. Sun has reached out 6ix9ine's attorney and LA Fitness for comment.

COMPLEX CRIMINAL HISTORY
6ix9ine first began releasing songs in 2014 and gained mainstream attention for his style of aggressive rap mixed with anime visuals.
He rose to fame in late 2017 with the release of his debut commercial single Gummo, which went platinum, but his career has also been blighted by personal and legal issues.
His complex criminal history stems in part from his association with the Nine Trey Bloods gang of New York.
The gang was labeled a "violent city gang" by the U.S. Attorney's Office.
6ix9ine was arrested in 2018 on racketeering charges.
The rapper was handed a 24-month sentence in 2019 after pleading guilty.
He initially faced at least 47 years in prison over the case but his guilty plea and testimony against former gang associates saw his sentence reduced as authorities looked to put them behind bars.
He was released from home confinement and GPS-monitoring in August 2020.
But the rapper ran into trouble again after his release.
6ix9ine was forced to flee the "safe house" he was staying in after his address was leaked online, compromising his safety.
In photos obtained following the leak, police cars could be seen trying to disperse fans as they attempted to catch a glimpse of the rapper.
It's thought that Tekashi’s fans figured out where he was living after he posted boastful photos of himself while standing outside the home brandishing stacks of dollar bills.
6ix9ine said late in 2020 that he did not regret snitching on the gang members.

It's not yet clear if Tuesday night's incident was in retaliation for the rapper's testimony against the gang members, or if it was in any way gang-related.
His lawyer is now seeking action from the federal government to get him further protection, according to TMZ.
