Phoenix Chi is Mel B’s eldest daughter, who was born on February 19, 1999 – making her 20-years-old.
Her father was Mel’s first husband, the Dutch dancer Jimmy Gulzar.
Phoenix likes to borrow her mum’s clothes and recently went to prom, which was documented by her proud mum.
On her 19th birthday, Mel gushed about her daughter: “My darling daughter. I have no words that can even describe how proud I am of you and the woman you have become, it’s not been an easy ride I know my love.
“Your 19 years old and you still want to cuddle your mummy though haha,thank you for being you and teaching me too my love (sic)”
What is Born Famous and will Phoenix be starring in it?
Phoenix Chi will be starring in new Channel 4 four-part series Born Famous.
The show is an experiment on social mobility and offers an exploration of prevalent themes such as privilege, class and talent.
The show sees the teenage kids of some of the UK's most successful self-made celebs put in the position of what could have been their alternate realities.
Each child will spend a week living the life they would have had if their parent hadn't become successful.
Phoenix will spend time in her mother's birthplace Leeds to discover what it was like for her mum growing up there before she hit the big time.
Channel 4 commissioner Emily Jones said: “There is a myth that talent will out whatever the circumstances.
Using extraordinary access so some of our most successful celebrities, Born Famous is a novel way to explore the degree to which we’re all in denial about how hard it is to be young today.”
When was Phoenix Chi in the video for 'Lullaby'?
Phoenix appeared in the music video and single cover for Mel B’s track Lullaby.
It was released on 4 June 2001, and peaked at number 13 in the charts.
She appears hugging her mum on the cover, while the video, which was filmed in Morocco, sees her with Mel at various points.
Who is Phoenix Chi’s dad Jimmy Gulzar?
Jimmy Gulzar is a Dutch dancer who was married to Mel B between 1998-2000.
The couple got engaged in May 1998 and the following month she was pregnant with Phoenix.
Mel, who briefly changed her name to Mel G, won custody of their daughter after their divorce.
The couple had met while he was dancing for the Spice Girls.
Who is Mel B?
Melanie Brown, 44, is a singer from Leeds.
She is most famous for being a member of the Spice Girls, going by the name Scary Spice.
Mel B was in the group from 1994 to 1998 and then embarked on a solo career after they split, releasing her debut album Hot in 2000.
She has since forged a successful career presenting, competing in and being a judge on various TV shows including This Is My Moment, Dancing With The Stars, The X Factor and American's Got Talent.
Mel is also mother to Angel Iris Murphy Brown, 11, from her relationship with actor Eddie Murphy.
And she has one child with her estranged husband Stephen Belafonte – Madison Brown Belafonte, six.
