AN Aldi fan-favourite air fryer is hitting shelves again this month.

The 1,000W Ambiano Air Fryer has been popular with shoppers in the past at the discount retailer.

The 3L air fryer will be returning to Aldi stores on February 19, according to HotUKDeals.

However, this one is slightly smaller than the 4.5L version brought to stores in January.

The new one costs £34.99 and features an LED Touch panel and non-stick frying baskets.

It should be returning online too, although The Sun has asked the supermarket to confirm.

It also includes a 60 minute timer so you don't have to stand watching it continuously.

And if you order online, don't forget about delivery charges – the minimum fee for Aldi is an extra £2.95.

If you want to visit in stores, you can find your nearest Aldi using the store locator tool on its website.

Customers who already own the product were full of positivity for it, with one writing: "Got this, great starter model."

And another claimed it was a "brilliant air fryer" which made "no mess".

Last month the supermarket brought back a 4.5L version of the air fryer, priced at £39.99.

It also came with a timer function and a digital LED touch screen display.

Before you commit to a purchase though, you should have a shop around first.

Use price comparison tools like Google Shopping to find similar products from other retailers and compare prices.

You might find there's an even better offer out there.

For example, Amazon is currently selling a 2L Econo air fryer for £39.

It uses 1,000W, cooks up to 600g at once and has a maximum temperature setting of 200°C.

Remember if you're buying this you might need to pay an extra delivery fee.

However, since the product is over £20, you can get free standard delivery if you don't mind waiting a week or so.

And don't get carried about with how cheap the purchase price is – remember, it also costs to run an air fryer.

Keep in mind the cost is different for everyone, as what you pay for electricity will depend on your tariff and also how large and efficient your appliance is.

Similar to any appliance, a newer model is likely to be more efficient, and be cheaper to run than an older version.

But on average, a 1,000W air fryer costs just 17p to run for 30 minutes and 34p to run for an hour.

Meanwhile a 1,500W air fryer will set you back 26p for half an hour, and 51p for an hour's use.
