EIGHT members of the same family, five of which are minors, have been found dead inside a Utah home, according to local officials.

The victims were discovered killed from what police believe were gunshot wounds.

Enoch City officials were called to the residence for a wellness check on Wednesday.

Inside the home, officers found three adults and five minors dead, police announced in a statement.

Utah officials said they do not believe there are any suspects at large, and confirmed there is no threat to the public.

The victims have yet to be identified.

They are continuing to investigate this incident.

Enoch City Manager Rob Dotson said the small community of about 8,000 people was devastated by the news and confirmed they were all from one family.

"Many of us have served with them in church, in the community and gone to school with these individuals," Dotson said in a video statement.

"This community at this time is hurting.
