CORONATION Street actress Julia Goulding has vetoed her husband's plan to name their baby after Star Wars' Han Solo.
The pregnant star – who plays Shona Ramsey – is 23 weeks pregnant with her first child with husband Ben Silver.
Despite being tempted to find out the gender of her unborn child, Julia has so far resisted temptation and is focusing on efforts to come up with an unusual name.
Her husband told OK! Magazine: "I want Han if it’s a boy as then he’ll be Han Silver, which sounds like Han Solo and I’m a big Star Wars fan."
Julia said: "We’ve got a lot of girls’ names but we haven’t got any boys’ names yet.
"I’ve ruled out Han so boy names are proving difficult. Ben also wanted Wolfgang but that also got vetoed."
Julia and Ben got hitched in December 2018 at Manchester’s Albert Hall.
Now expecting their first child together, she gushed: “I love being pregnant now I’m in my second trimester – I feel fantastic.
“He or she has got a personality already. At the scan, it posed for a minute and then turned its back on us and wouldn’t move!
"Which means they may take after Ben, who’s more camera shy than me, or perhaps they’ve got my attitude! We’ve got a sassy one, whatever it is."
Back in May, the 34-year-old revealed her pregnancy to fans on Instagram.
She said: "Ben and I are delighted to announce that we are expecting our first baby at the end of this year!
"We are absolutely overjoyed and can’t wait to meet our little one!"
Julia has played Shona Ramsey in the ITV soap since 2016.
She stars alongside Jack P Shepherd as David Platt's girlfriend.
