One I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star has claimed she launched an explicit tirade at a cameraman after he stuck recording equipment into her sleeping bag.

Catalina Guirado appeared on the second ever series of the ITV reality show, and wasn't ready for how "intrusive" the filming process turned out to be.

She spoke to Daily Star about her most "hated" part of the experience, confirming: "The bit I really hated was sleeping in those sleeping bags.

"I was so terrified of something crawling in during the night or landing on me that I would literally tuck myself in and zipped it up to the top – I was basically in a body bag every night! I couldn't breathe!"

Catalina recalled being "disturbed" one night, branding the camera operators "so mean".

She said: "They were so mean. They’d made a little hole and there was a camera sticking down it. They unzipped the bag slightly and I woke up to a camera in my face.

"I woke up at night and they were filming us sleeping. It was very intrusive, it was horrible. I think I might have F-bombed them and they left me alone. Then [in the morning] it was like, did that happen? Was that a nightmare?"

The star also wasn't happy with how she was edited, admitting she felt "traumatised" and "agoraphobic" once she left the jungle.

Catalina confessed: "It was the first time there was this kind of reality TV. I was told when I was going in that they were going to portray me as I am which is, I think, quite a decent person who gets on with everybody.

"I take part and I muck in. But I think, really, they wanted more of a primadonna type, so that started to come through in the editing process.

"I think it was very unfair to do that and I did feel really quite traumatised mentally by it. It wasn’t good for my mental health."

Catalina didn't like being filmed so much that she would "ham up" her iconic bikini scenes.

She admitted: "Because I was part of the whole lads' mags thing, like Loaded, I was very used to modelling. I was used to being in a bikini, that wasn't really an issue.

"The funny thing is, when you're bathing in that fake, plastic rock pool [in the jungle], there’s a guy with a camera there just filming you.

"So I’d start to just take the p*** out of it, out of the fact that they were filming me showering. I'd really ham it up to the camera."
