EastEnders’ Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer) is being abused by her husband Gray Atkins (Toby Alexander Smith) behind closed doors.

EastEnders spoilers previously revealed Chantelle would struggle to hide her abuse after Gray pushed her against a wall and punched her in the stomach.

While none of her family know her dark secret and assume their marriage is perfect, Gray is set to show his violent side in shocking scenes.

Keegan Baker (Zack Morris) decides to spend the day with Gray at his office for work experience, which inspires him to drop out of school and start working.

His dad Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) is fuming with his decision and it doesn’t take long for him to confront his son, leading him to discover it was Gray’s idea.

Mitch is furious with his son-in-law and marches round to his house to have a word, and it doesn’t take long for things to get violent.

Things escalate to a deadly degree, which has led fans to believe there may be more to the story than it seems.
