This Morning fans were left in stitches after Rylan Clark confessed that he loves a “big snake” but “can’t handle the little ones” on air.

The 33-year-old has been presenting the hugely popular ITV daytime show alongside Ruth Langsford since Monday with telly bosses poking fun at his terrifying escapade with the slithery beast all week.

During Thursday’s instalment, the fan-favourite duo welcomed on Gyles Brandreth back to the blue sofa where they discussed the latest news stories to hit the headlines this morning.

Over the years, the TV star has made quite the lasting impression on viewers with his wide range of colourful comical jumpers, and today was no different.

The Countdown star donned a black, green and red jumper which featured a ginormous snake all over it that wrapped itself about the jumper as he jokingly named the cold-blooded creature after the X Factor star.

As they welcomed him back on the show, Gyles confessed: “It's good to be back, I wore this jumper especially for you. This is kind of therapy, aversion therapy.”

Ruth replied: “To be fair it is a friendly-looking snake” to which Rylan pointed out: “It is but I think that’s Gyles making it friendly”.
