ARSENAL cult hero Hector Bellerin is reportedly set to terminate his contract.

The right-back's agent is in London to negotiate the parting of ways as the Spaniard looks to return to Betis, where he spent last season on loan.

And Arsenal are still very interested in Youri Tielemans, according to reports.

It is stated that the Gunners will pursue the Leicester ace once a player has been sold.

However, it is not specified whether the sale of Lucas Torreira to Galatasaray, which has just been completed, will be sufficient or whether another player will also have to leave.

And it's claimed that they are prepared to battle Liverpool for 19-year-old Yeremy Pino of Champions League semi-finalists Villarreal.

    Lucas Torreira brutally snubbed Arsenal after completing his move to Galatasaray.

    Theb was no mention of his former employees as he expressed joy over the switch to Turkey.

    Arsenal have made another signing, but this time off the pitch.

    The club have snagged former Man City Chief Operating Officer Karen Smart.

    Smart left Man City in April, and will now replace Hywel Slomans as the Gnners' COO.

    He told Scouted Football: "It’s impossible to say how close you are.

    Rio Ferdinand has hailed Oleksandr Zinchenko as a "great addition" and reckons Mikel Arteta will use him like Pep Guardiola uses Joao Cancelo.

    Arsenal have confirmed the departure of Lucas Torreira.

    The 26-year-old has joined Galatasaray on a permanent transfer after spending the last two years out on loan.

    In total Torreira played 89 games for the Gunners since he joined in July 2018.

    Ferdinand verdict on Odegaard captaincy

    Rio Ferdinand has suggested the Arsenal captaincy could result in a "different" Martin Odegaard this campaign.

    The playmaker wore the armband last season when Alexandre Lacazette didn't play after Pierre Emerick Aubameyang's departure.

    He was named as permanent captain over the summer, but the Manchester United legend said it could actually have a negative impact on Odegaard.

    That's despite the midfielder also captaining Norway.

    Saliba picked up the Man of the Match award in Friday's win over Crystal Palace.

    Arsenal legend Ian Wright has praised Mikel Arteta and transfer chief Edu for the way they have handled William Saliba's development.

    The 21-year-old joined the club in 2019 and didn't not make his debut until Friday night.
