OLEKSANDR ZINCHENKO shed tears for Ukraine after winning the Premier League title with Manchester City.
As Pep Guardiola and his players celebrated on the pitch after beating Aston Villa 3-2 to secure the silverware, Zinchenko took time to reflect on the troubles in his homeland.
The defender draped the Ukraine flag over the Premier League trophy, and was visibly upset as he remembered the atrocities going on in the East.
Russia is continuing its invasion of Ukraine after Vladimir Putin first sent troops into the country on February 24.
Zinchenko held the Ukraine flag tight to his chest before breaking down at the Etihad.
He was consoled by Ruben Dias, Rodri and Jack Grealish.

The 25-year-old then paid tribute to City and their supporters.
