Rylan Clark has quipped that he’s “just about alive” after celebrating the UK’s success at Eurovision yesterday, Saturday 14 May.
The TV presenter, 33, hosted the contest’s BBC coverage with Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills at the Pala Alpitour in Turin, Italy.
Sam Ryder represented the UK at the world renowned song contest, and came in second place to Ukraine – the highest the UK placed at Eurovision in over two decades.
Rylan documented his evening over Instagram, and shared clips of him singing along to Sam’s hit song Spaceman as he performed to millions of people watching from their homes.

After the show, the 33 year old didn’t hold back on the celebrations, and shared a clip of him downing Jägerbombs with co-presenter Scott.
Scott went on to share a video of them with the star of the night Sam, who thanked everyone for their support.
Replying to the video today, Rylan wrote: “I’m so hungover and I LOVE IT”.
He also shared a snap today of himself drinking a pint of beer while donning a cap and a large pair of sunglasses as he pulled a sad face.
“I’m alive ….. just,” Rylan captioned the funny photo that’s amassed 13,000 likes already.
People have since commented on the post gushing over his and Scott’s presenting of last night’s contest.
“So proud of you/ Scott/ the team and Sam …. You gave us heart soul and passion with a lot of laffs… congratulations,” wrote one person.
“Well done Rylan, you have been fantastic, and you have had a great time. So pleased you are back,” said someone else.
Meanwhile, others chuckled as he did the “hair of the dog”.
“If that isn’t a look of hair of the dog I don’t know what is,” quipped one of Rylan’s Twitter followers.
“Hair of the dog you will be fine love you… Xx”, wrote another.
Rylan was supposed to host last year’s Eurovision, buthad to pull out at the last minute due to falling ill.
Sara Cox went on to replace him, who hosted the show alongside this year’s presenter Scott and The Games star Chelcee Grimes.
Announcing the news at the time, Sara said: "I'm really excited, I've got a new little job this week. I will be co-hosting the Eurovision semi-finals on BBC Four tomorrow night and Thursday night.
"Rylan is unwell, so obviously, we wish him better. So I'll be stepping into Rylan's sparkly tux tomorrow and Thursday, 8pm, BBC Four, all the action from the Eurovision semi-finals."
