Wendy Williams is ready for her television and financial comeback

Wendy Williams is ready to sit down with Sherri Shepherd after the two exchanged words over social media.

The multihyphenate, who is actively trying to get her eponymous talk show back despite Shepherd permanently replacing her with “Sherri” in the fall, said in a statement Wednesday that she wants to meet with the former “The View” co-host.

“I have tons of support around me, and I am working on projects,” Williams told the US Sun. “I would love the chance to actually speak with Sherri and sit down and meet.”

Williams’ attorney, LaShawn Thomas, added that her client harbors “no ill will” toward Shepherd.

“Wendy requesting to have a sit-down with Sherri to have a meeting of the minds is the perfect solution as she has no ill will or intent,” Thomas said. “Wendy is preparing to get her show back in motion.”

The feud between Williams, 57, and Shepherd, 55, began last Friday when the former shock jock sat down with Fat Joe on Instagram Live and said she would not watch Shepherd’s talk show because it is not her “thing.” Shepherd responded by saying she did not care.

“I did hear Wendy say she will not watch me on the new show. And that’s OK. You know, I understand,” she said Saturday during her own Instagram Live.

The “Jamie Foxx Show” alum also asked fans to “pray” for Williams, whose poor health was the reason she departed her show in the first place.

While it seems Williams and her attorney have changed their tunes about Shepherd — at least in public — her personal rep is still shading the actress.

“I personally feel that it is difficult to wish a person well, which Sherri did, while attempting to health-shame them at the same time, especially since Wendy was the one who created multiple platforms that gave Sherri several opportunities,” Shawn Zanotti told the US Sun. “Wendy is an icon and should be respected as such.”
