WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO is considering a boxing comeback aged 46 as he eyes George Foreman's championship record.
Klitschko retired in 2017 after losing in 11 epic rounds to Anthony Joshua at Wembley.
It was the same setting that Tyson Fury – who beat the Ukrainian in 2015 – knocked out Dillian Whyte with a brutal uppercut over the weekend.
And Klitschko congratulated his old rival while revealing a plan to become boxing's oldest heavyweight champion.
He told BILD: "I also learned that despite the war, you shouldn't forget life. Sport is part of my life. I'm delighted that Tyson Fury won.
"Who knows, I don't want to promise anything big here, but if I'm in good shape and, above all, that the war in Ukraine will soon come to an end, and that our Borders exist without any invasion coming from Russia, then in the end who knows?”

Foreman, now 73, initially retired in 1977 at 28 but returned to the ring ten years later.
The American in 1994 then knocked out Michael Moorer to become the oldest heavyweight champ ever at 45.
Klitschko is in a position to break that record but has been fighting a far bigger battle for his country amid Russia's invasion.
He signed up for Ukraine's reserve army in February and bravely took up arms.

Klitschko retired after his legendary fight with Joshua and snubbed a rematch soon after.
It came only two years after a shock defeat on points to Fury in Germany, where a rematch also failed to follow.
That was because the Gypsy King vacated his belts following a battle with depression and substance abuse.
But after an inspirational comeback only five years later Fury would reign as world heavyweight king again.
And if Klitschko does return to the ring, a rematch with Fury could await, despite the Gypsy King claiming his win over Whyte will be the final in his iconic career.
