North Macedonia took down Italy last week. Can it knock off another European giant on Tuesday?
The surprise Euro 2020 qualifiers are a win away from the World Cup and that win has to come against Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal. North Macedonia did a fantastic job of parking the bus against the European champions on Thursday and got a goal in stoppage time to escape with a stunning 1-0 win and force Italy to miss a second straight World Cup.
If you think North Macedonia can pull off a surprise again, well, bet them and stand to make a huge profit. North Macedonia is +1600 to win in regulation against Portugal. The winner heads to the World Cup and the loser goes home. Cristiano Ronaldo can't miss what's likely to be his last chance at a World Cup, right?
The other UEFA World Cup winner-take-all qualifier on Tuesday includes Poland and Sweden. The third and final playoff spot will be decided in June after Ukraine plays Scotland. The winner of that game will then play Wales for the chance to go to the World Cup.

CONCACAF
The CONCACAF scenarios are pretty straightforward. Canada is in the World Cup. And barring a huge win by Costa Rica over the United States, Mexico and the U.S. are in the other two automatic qualifying spots. Costa Rica is guaranteed at least fourth place and a playoff against Oceania and has to either make up a four-goal deficit on goal difference to Mexico with a Mexico loss or a 10-goal difference to the United States with a Mexico win. That's probably not going to happen.
All four CONCACAF games are on Thursday.
