Apparently fans simply aren’t over Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas breakup in 2007, because someone showed up with a giant “FUCK NICK JONAS” sign at her Lollapalooza Chile performance. And Miley noticed the sign because she mused, “Fuck Nick Jonas,” before hastily adding, “I didn’t say it! I didn’t say it! Just one of the other signs!”

In case you’ve blocked out the entirety of the early aughts, which I completely understand, Miley and Nick started dating in Summer 2006 when they were just 13-year-olds, and made it all the way to December 2007. Miley spoke about the split to Seventeen in 2008, saying “Nick and I loved each other. We still do, but we were in love with each other. For two years he was basically my 24/7. But it was really hard to keep it from people. We were arguing a lot, and it really wasn’t fun.”

She also talked about their breakup in her book Miles to Go (I’ll give you a moment to appreciate that title), saying, “Prince Charming and I broke up on December 19, 2007. The hardest day ever. My life felt like it had ground to a halt, but the rest of the world kept right on rolling. I was on tour. People were counting on me, but my head—no, my heart—was dizzy.”

Meanwhile, Nick also opened up about their relationship in the Jonas Brothers doc Chasing Happiness, musing that he “actually knew what it felt like” to be in love once he met Miley. Oh, and Kevin, for some reason, added “We got to be on the Hannah Montana episode on the Disney Channel. That changed girls for Nick forever. When he met Miley, I think that kid’s head exploded.”
