Coronation Street brothers David (played by Jack P Shepherd) and Nick (Ben Price) have been ripped apart by a lie over grandmother Audrey’s (Sue Nicholls) stolen money.
Nick stole a large amount from his grandmother and used it to set up Trim Up North but David eventually came clean about the money.
The pair have since been to court and were prepared to stick by one another but at the last moment, Nick turned on his brother.
David was therefore locked up for two months for his brother’s crime in turn missing his wedding to Shona Ramsey (Julia Goulding).

Following Nick’s betrayal, it’s likely David will want to take revenge on his brother but how far will he go?
David has previously tried to murder Nick when he discovered he’d slept with wife Kylie (Paula Lane) before targeting her killer Clayton Hibbs (Callum Harrison).
This time, could David want to leave Nick with nothing by targeting his partner Leanne (Jane Danson) and leaving him heartbroken over her death?
It certainly seems likely as actor Jack teased his character could snap at any point and become a murdered.
He told The Sun: “That’s the beauty of it with the Platts they can all switch and go a bit psycho one minute then vulnerable and emotional and funny.
“It works each way for all the characters.”
Meanwhile it looks like Corrie fans will be without Shona and David on television screens for some time.
David will be locked up in prison while Shona star Julia will be taking maternity leave meaning the pair are unlikely to share a lot of time together.
Jack explained: “She goes on maternity leave but I’m not sure when.
“She’s having four months off. But I’ve done a month or so. So we may have a bit of a cross over before she goes but actually we might not.
It looks like fans will just have to wait to see the pair tie the knot until later this year.
Elsewhere on the cobbles, Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine) could be left heartbroken when she returns to Weatherfield in coming weeks as a new arrival causes tension in her romance with Tyrone Hobbs (Alan Halsall).
Teaching assistant Jade (Lottie Henshall) will be brought in to help tutor Hope as she tries to readjust to life at home but her presence will distract Tyrone.
As she moves into the family home, will she tempt Tyrone into bed or will he turn her away and remain faithful to Fiz?
He’s already cheated on Fiz with Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) so it’s unlikely Fiz would be able to forgive him if he betrayed her again.
Coronation Street continues Monday on ITV at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
