Body blow

I’m going for a consultation this week at Pall Mall Cosmetics to get my boobs checked after having a breast reduction last year. I’m just going for a check-up to see if everything is as it should be. I actually feel like my boobs have grown bigger!

I’m still feeling really uncomfortable in my own skin at the moment. No matter how healthy I’m being and how hard I’m training, I can’t seem to lose weight. It doesn’t even feel like I’m in my own body! I look in the mirror and cry every day.

Birthday girl's time of her life

It’s half-term this week for my kids and we’ve got lots planned. Heidi turned 15 on Sunday, so I’ve booked for us to go to London first-class on the train for an overnight hotel stay. She’s bringing a friend and we’re going to go for breakfast at Tiffany’s in Harrods, then we’re going to the theatre to watch Dirty Dancing.

I prefer giving the kids presents like that because I think it’s nice to make memories. But it’s not bloody cheap! I can’t believe my baby is 15 already. She’s growing up fast!

The value of fostering

I filmed an emotional segment for Steph’s Packed Lunch, which aired last week. It was about foster care and I met up with my foster dad, Fred.

I’m really proud of it. If anyone was watching who has perhaps been thinking about fostering, I hope it’s pushed them in the right direction to do it. Fred is a lovely man and we have such a laugh. I pop to see him every now and then to catch up. He walked me down the aisle at my wedding to Brian McFadden.

He’s been a massive part of my life. He and my foster mum, who we sadly lost six years ago, were always so supportive. But whenever I was going through my troubles, I never turned to them. I never wanted to spoil the happy memories I had with them – and I didn’t want to ever let them down.

Back on your screens

I was recently away filming for a new TV show, which I can now announce is Celebrity Cooking School on E4. We basically got trained up to become chefs and improve our cooking skills.

We worked with Michelin-starred chef Giorgio Locatelli and TikTok star Poppy O’Toole – who were both brilliant. They are such lovely people. I had a fantastic time and met loads of lovely new faces.

But I can’t give too much away. I can’t wait for you all to see it later this year.

Mental health woes can hit anyone

Rylan Clark has revealed that his mental health struggles, which he experienced following the breakdown of his marriage, hit him really hard because he always thought he was too strong to go through a crisis like that.

Nobody is too strong to be hit by mental health woes. Anything can happen in your life. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you do for a living – anyone can go through that. If it’s going to get you, it’s going to get you.
