The holiday of love is upon us, and General Hospital has nothing but love in the air. Sonny, of course, thinks he’s calling all the shots — bless his heart. He’s about to find out the hard way that this is far from the case.
[Spoiler alert: Potential spoilers for upcoming episodes of General Hospital are up ahead.]
On ‘General Hospital,’ Sonny thinks he’s calling all the shots
According to Soaps.com, the latest General Hospital spoilers reveal that Sonny believes he’s calling all the shots. Look for Sonny to get the wake-up call of his life on Feb. 11, when he heads over to Charlie’s to see it all decked out for the Valentine’s Day holiday. At that time, Phyllis and Sonny will have a meeting, and they’ll discuss Sonny’s love woes.
Hey, nobody told Sonny to sleep with Nina in a moment of confusion. Sonny claimed he was trying to get back together with Carly, and he was going to do everything he can to win her back. So much for that, eh, Mr. Corinthos?
But if he thinks things are bad now, wait until he finds out that Carly is ready to move on. That’s when Sonny is really going to start reeling. Somebody get him some smelling salts!
Carly is ready to move on
So Sonny tells Phyllis that he’s upset that Carly thinks she’s calling the shots. How dare she? He’s the shot-caller in this relationship. Unfortunately for him, the General Hospital spoilers from SoapHub suggest that not only is Sonny wrong (so wrong, so so wrong) about this assertion, but he’s about to find himself without a wife!
“That will come as a surprise to Carly, who sets up a meeting that could impact her future,” reports the outlet. “Carly appears to meet with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and tells her that seeing Sonny and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) together gave her the clarity she needs to move on from her marriage. However, Sam wonders if she is making the right move. After all, they’ve been together a long time.”
Well…things certainly have gotten messy in the Corinthos household. After all these years, this is how they go out? For shame. But that’s nothing compared to the messiness that Peter August is about to go through.
Meanwhile, Peter finally falls
It’s been rumored. It’s been talked about. And now, it’s finally happening. Yes, General Hospital fans, Peter August will finally fall! Look for that to happen sometime early next week, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry. And it will certainly be satisfying to watch.
“However, there have been so many false alarms and close calls when it comes to Peter’s demise,” reports the outlet. “They may choose to go with a grislier bitter end and really let fans know this is done. After all the complaints about Peter and years of wondering when this will end, the finality of an onscreen death would be appreciated.”
Yes, watching Peter August die a very painful death will be much appreciated by many General Hospital fans, for sure.
