DONALD Trump faces another backlash on social media after allegedly leading people to believe a year-old photo in his 9/11 tribute was taken on Tuesday.
Furious Twitter users pointed out many of the members staff pictured in the snap no longer work at The White House.
The tweet read: 'Departing Washington DC to attend a Flight 93 September 11th Memorial Service in Shanksville, Pennsylvania with Melania.'
And the picture shows Trump, the First Lady, and hundreds of White House staff pay homage to the victims of 9/11.
Many of the staff members though, including former White House Communications Director Hope Hicks, quit their roles in Trump's government months ago.
Others pointed out Trump was wearing different clothes in photos also said to have been taken on Tuesday.
And some Twitter users noticed the weather in Washington DC was 'cloudy and dreary', and not sunny as depicted in Trump's picture.
'This was not taken today! Why do you lie about everything,' one Twitter user wrote.
'It's cloudy and dreary in DC today,' added another.
'I think I see Hope Hicks (red dress) and Omarosa (flowered dress) in the photo,' read a tweet.
The barrage of angry tweets flooded social media throughout the day.
A later one read: 'Did you change your tie and Melanie/Melania change dresses on the way (and for some reason invited Omerosa [sic] and H Hicks to pop by for the pic) or is this just last year's photo?'
The US President did though commemorate the victims of Flight 93, and praise the heroes who stopped a hijacked plane from reaching Washington, DC seventeen years ago.
Speaking in front of hundreds in rural Pennsylvania, he said: 'America will never forget what your loved ones did for all of us.
'They stopped the forces of terror and defeated this wicked, horrible, evil plan.'
The politician referred to 'radical Islamic terrorism' several times as 'the enemy.'
A California-bound commercial airliner crashed in Pennsylvania in 9/11, after the 40 passengers and crew members learned what was happening and attempted to regain control of the aircraft. Everyone on board was killed.
