THE six people found dead in a Wisconsin home were shot "execution style", according to a cousin of one of the victims.

Tiffany Cole-Whittington's claims have offered a new clue into the mystery deaths which continue to puzzle authorities.

She told WISN: "We were told that it was execution-style."

Police have not confirmed that detail but have said they are investigating the deaths as multiple homicides. The Sun has contacted police for comment.

Investigators said on Tuesday that they are still searching for any involved suspects and a motive behind the killings.

That came after neighbors reported an "overpowering stench" coming from the home.

The victims have since been identified as Charles Hardy, 42, Caleb Jordan, 23, Javoni Liddell, 31, Donta "Michael" Williams, 44, Michelle Willaims, 49, and Donald Smith, 43.

Reports from the medical examiner's office showed three of the six victims, Michelle, Michael and Smith, lived in the same home near 21st and Wright in the city's Park West neighborhood.

Authorities initially discovered five victims during the welfare check at the home; however, a sixth victim was found hours later.

The victims had injuries suspected to have been caused by gunfire, Milwaukee police sergeant Efrain Cornejo said.

Cornejo said the police department continues to seek “unknown suspects."

Michelle's family grew concerned late last week when they had not heard her.

"Am I in a movie? This is not real," said Michelle's cousin Tiffany told Fox6.

"She didn’t deserve this – in her own home.

'OVERPOWERING' STENCH

"When they got there, they said the smell – the stench – was so overpowering. Neighbors said they had been smelling it for a few days," Whittington said.

Michelle was killed alongside her husband, Michael.

"She was the best person you could meet," Whittington added.

"She literally had the best heart. She was not in the street or in a gang that would cause her this harm."

A woman named Ronda told Fox6 that she shares a 15-year-old daughter with Michael.

Ronda said the family was planning a Sweet 16 birthday party for her daughter, but instead, they're now in shock over their sudden loss.

"Home was first, his wife and kids. That's all that mattered to him, his kids and grandkids, and he loved 'em so dearly.

"(My daughter is) emotional. She can't sleep. She's constantly crying, and you know, it's hard for her to take it all in," the woman said.

Acting Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson branded the incident "horrific."

He said: "It is important not to feel numbed by the ongoing violence in the community.

"A horrible crime has again occurred and it is not a movie or a fictional account. These victims died in our city, in one of our neighborhoods."

Police believe there is no ongoing threat to the community as investigations continue.
